1] Stanford Cardinal (1-0)
Cardinal held off San Diego State, avenging last years defeat by a solid 31-10 margin. How long they hold the top spot will be interesting to see as they have the Trojans coming in Saturday evning.
2] USC Trojans (1-0)
It took until the fourth quarter for the Trojans to take care of the UNLV Rebels, but did so with a 43-21 victory. JT Daniels has work to do. A trip up the 5 for a potential conference championship preview awaits.
3] Oregon Ducks (1-0)
Oregon took care of Bowling Green as they should have, 58-24 behind five scores from Justin Herbert. Another dominating performance against Portland state should follow for the Ducks.
4] Washington Huskies (0-1)
Washington put on their big boy pants, went across the nation to face, then ranked, #9 Auburn, closing a close one 21-16, making it tough to not have them among the top three, but a home date against North Dakota should get the Huskies back on the winning track.
5] Utah Utes (1-0)
It wasn’t pretty for the Utes, as they fell behind 10-0 to Weber State during the first quarter. It ended as expected, as a 41-0 run propelled them to a 41-10 victory. A trip to the mid west and the Northern Illinois Huskies.
6] Washington State Cougars (1-0)
Wazzou went into Wyoming, who had already played, and walked away with a 41-19 victory, thanks to three scores in the final period. Another win against San Jose State should be expected as the Cougars open up their home campaign.
7] California Golden Bears (1-0)
Nearly letting it go away, the Bears did just enough to hang onto a 24-17 win against the North Carolina Tar Heels. A trip to BYU is on the horizon.
8] Arizona State Sun Devils (1-0)
Dominating performance against UT-San Antonio, the Sun Devils nearly pitched a shut out during Herm Edwards debut. A trip to Michigan State awaits, who nearly got upset by Utah State.

Steve Montez through four touch downs, as the Buffs defeat their rivals 45-13 at home. A chance for a big win against Nebraska is up next.
10] UCLA Bruins (0-1)
Chip Kelly era doesn’t start off with a bang, as the Bruins dropped a 26-17 decision to the Cincinnati Bearcats. The fourth youngest team doesn’t get it any easier with a trip to Oklahoma coming up.
11] Arizona Wildcats (0-1)
Like Kelly, Kevin Sumlin’s debut didn’t go as planned, as the Wildcats lost 28-23 to the BYU Cougars. With a visit to Houston coming up, Arizona can drop to 0-2.
12] Oregon State Beavers (0-1)
Not a single soul believed that Oregon State would put up much of a fight against Ohio State. And that was shown with a 77-31 defeat. With Southern Utah coming to town, the Beavs should get to 1-1.
